The Virginia Center for Inclusive Communities ("Inclusive Communities" or "VCIC") is a non-profit organization that works with schools, businesses, and communities to achieve success by addressing prejudices, in all forms, in order to improve academic achievement, increase workplace productivity, and enhance local trust. Through workshops, retreats, and customized programs that raise knowledge, motivation, and skills, VCIC develops leaders who work together to achieve success throughout the Commonwealth. ==Programs== Inclusive Communities organizes its (programs ) in four categories: * * (Emerging Leaders Institute ) (K-12 Schools) * * (Diversity in Higher Education Division ) (Colleges & Universities) * * (Inclusive Workplaces Initiative ) (Professional Development) * * (Community Programs & Partnerships ) (Community Organizations) Major programs include the (Allies Institute ), (Break the Cycle: Be the Change ), (the Harold M. Marsh, Sr. Connections Institute ), the NEXUS Interfaith Dialogue Series (), (the Prejudice Awareness Summit ), and (Project Inclusion ).
